The Head of Democratic Services presented a report to consult on the content of the Councillor’s Guide – Handling Online Harassment, Abuse & Intimidation.

 

Resolved that:

 

1)             The Councillor’s Guide be recommended to Council for adoption in order for the training module to be rolled out to all Councillors.

The Head of Democratic Services presented a report to provide guidance to Councillors on issues of Personal Safety and Lone Working.

1)             The Guidance be noted and reported to Council.

Councillors ICT Allowances Policy - May 2022 & Beyond. pdf icon PDF 223 KB

Minutes:

The Head of Democratic Services presented a report to propose that the Councillors ICT Allowances Policy – May 2022 & Beyond be amended slightly to enable greater flexibility on how the ICT Allowance may be spent on smart technology.

 

Resolved that:

 

1)             Paragraph 6.1 of the Councillors ICT Allowances Policy - May 2022 & Beyond be redrafted as follows:

 

“6.1     The Councillors / Co-opted Members’ ICT Allowance allows Councillors / Co-opted Members to purchase their own ICT equipment such as desktop or laptop PC, Tablet Computer, Printer and Software, ICT Peripherals such as storage, backup facilities, printer paper and ink, ICT Support and smart technology and related subscriptions for safety and wellbeing purposes.”

 

2)             The amendment be recommended to Council for adoption.
