Resolved that the Minutes of the Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee held on 13 June 2024 be approved and signed as a correct record.

Chris Moore, SBCD Section 151 Officer presented a report to provide Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee (SBCRJC) with an update on the latest financial position of the Swansea Bay City Region.

Resolved that Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee:

1)             Reviews & Approves the financial monitoring update report.

Chris Moore, SBCD Section 151 Officer presented a report to provide Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee with the Joint Committee Pre-Audit Annual Statement of Accounts 2023/24 (Appendix A) for the Swansea Bay City Deal.

Resolved that Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee:

1)             Notes the Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee Pre-Audit Statement of Accounts 2023/24 for the Swansea Bay City Deal.

2)             Endorses Pre-Audit Annual Statement of Accounts.

Heidi Harris, SBCD Communications and Marketing Officer sought approval from the Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee on the content of the SBCD Annual Report April 2023-March 2024 attached at Appendix A.

Resolved that Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee:

1)             Approves the content of the SBCD Annual Report 2023-2024.

Lisa Willis, SBCD Supporting Innovation & Low Carbon Growth Programme Manager presented a “For Information” report to inform Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee of the progress made and status of the SBCD Supporting Innovation & Low Carbon Growth Programme.

Peter Austin, SBCD Business Engagement Manager presented a “For Information” report to update Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee on the review of the Construction Impact Assessment Report.

Jonathan Burns, SBCD Director provided a “For Information” report to inform Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee of the SBCD Quarterly Monitoring Report for both the SBCD Portfolio and its constituent programmes / projects.

Peter Austin, SBCD Business Engagement Manager presented a “For Information” report to update Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee on the delivery of 4 local ‘Meet the City Deal’ events during 2023/24.
