The Swansea Bay City Deal (SBCD) Monitoring Officer presented a report to review and agree the recommended Joint Committee Co-opted Members.

Resolved that Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee:

1)             Approve the appointment of Dr Neil Wooding as the replacement Hywel Dda University Health Board Co-Opted Member.

Gareth Jones, Audit Wales presented a report to update on the findings of the recent Audit Wales – Assurance & Risk Assessment at Appendix A and to agree the Action Plan at Appendix B.

Resolved that Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee:

1)             Receives the Audit Wales – Assurance & Risk Assessment at Appendix A;

2)             Agrees the Action Plan at Appendix B.

Matthew Holder, Audit, Risk & Counter Fraud Manager presented a report to consider the findings and actions of the 2023-24 Internal Audit review into the SBCD Portfolio.

Resolved that Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee:

1)             Endorses the findings and actions of the 2023-24 Internal Audit review into the SBCD Portfolio at Appendix A.

Oonagh Gavigan, HAPS Project Manager presented a “For Information” report supported by a powerpoint presentation to inform Joint Committee of the Homes as Power Stations project progress.

Jonathan Burns, SBCD Director presented a “For Information” report to inform Joint Committee of the SBCD Quarterly Monitoring Report for both the SBCD Portfolio and its constituent programmes / projects.

Approved.

Ian Williams, SBCD Portfolio Development Manager presented a report to seek Joint Committee approval for the SBCD Evaluation Framework detailing the evaluation arrangements for the Portfolio and its constituent programmes and projects at Appendix A.

Resolved that Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee:

1)             Approves the SBCD Evaluation Framework attached at Appendix A.
