Work Plan 2018-2019. (Discussion) Minutes: The Head of Poverty & Prevention provided the Committee with a presentation on the Committee Work Plan for 2018-2019. The following were discussed in the presentation: - · Considerations; · Proposals for 2018-2019; · Poverty Truth Commission / Homelessness Action Plan; · High Interest Lending; · Human Rights City; · Employability. The Committee discussed work carried over from the previous PDDC; focusing upon a smaller number of topics; the proposals, outcomes and work programme for the Poverty Truth Commission / Homelessness Action Plan; the work programme and outcomes for High Interest Lending; the work programme and outcomes for Human Rights City; and, if time allowed, the work plan and outcomes for employability. Resolved that: - 1) The contents of the presentation be noted; 2) The following topics be included in the 2018-2019 Work Plan: - Homelessness Strategy Action Plan - High interest lending - Poverty Truth Commission - Human Rights City 3) The topic of Employability be held in reserve, if time allowed; 4) The Head of Poverty & Prevention circulate the amended presentation slides to the Committee; 5) An updated Work Plan be reported to the next scheduled meeting. |
