Additional Information

It was a real privilege to be re-elected in 2022, this time for the newly amalgamated ward of Dunvant and Killay. I will endeavour to serve all parts of the ward to the best of my ability and look forward to meeting residents.

Aside from my current role as Cabinet Member for Care Services, I work hard to involve myself in local community activities. I am a governor at both Dunvant and Pen Y Fro Primary Schools, I am the Secretary of Friends of Dunvant Park, a member of the committee for the Nant Cillan Project and I attend the monthly meetings of Killay Community Council. I organise regular community activities in Dunvant Social Centre and Killay Scout and Guides HQ including holiday breakfast club, community cinema and a monthly kids club. I am one of the founders and the Chair of STOPP (Swansea Takes On Period Poverty) which provides free menstrual products to individuals and groups across Swansea and works to raise awareness of the issue of period poverty and tackle the problem of stigma around menstruation.

Please drop into my monthly surgery held either at Killay Library or Dunvant Social Centre, or contact me by phone or email if you’d like my help with anything.
