A Contract Award report and Financial Procedure Rule 7
(FPR7) report was presented to and approved by Cabinet on the 7 May 2020,
recommending that the contract be awarded to Kier Western Ltd.
A Full Business Case (FBC) was approved by Welsh Government
in July 2020.
Due to various challenges, including COVID-19, insufficient provisional sums and unforeseen build issues, we are now seeking to commit further funding from the Band B programme.
