The Council is the lead authority for the S W Wales region for bus service revenue grant funding from the Welsh Government. The Welsh Government are changing the way in which this funding is provided and managed to reflect the additional support that is being provided to bus operators as a result of the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic. A 4 party agreement has been developed between the Welsh Government, Transport for Wales, Bus Operators and local authorities, which the Council is being asked to approve for signature in spring 2021.
