The HMO Licensing Policy 2016 includes an Additional HMO Licensing scheme in the Castle and Uplands Wards. This expires in March 2021.
Council undertook to review the Policy prior to the expiry of the existing scheme and this must adhere to a statutory process. This includes public consultation on proposed changes, approval by Council and legal notification prior to the declaration of a new Additional HMO Licensing scheme.
