The Audit Committee is accountable to and provides assurance to Council over risk management, internal control and corporate governance. To demonstrate accountability an Audit Committee Annual Report is presented to Council.
This report describes the assurance that has been gained by the Audit Committee from various sources during 2018/19 and also outlines a number of other areas where briefings have been provided to the Committee.
