Swansea BID was incepted in 2006 and a continuation BID was agreed in 2011. The current BID is coming to the end of its current 5 year term and will be subject to a ballot renewal process for a subsequent third term in February 2016.
The purpose of the Report is to overview the BID scheme to date and, as one of the largest BID members, to set out the implications for the Council of the continuance of the BID with a view to seeking the support of members.
