Agreed that the Minutes of the Swansea Public Services Board Partnership Group Meeting held on 21 November 2017 be approved as a correct record.

Minutes:

Chris Sivers provided an update in respect of the Wellbeing Plan. She highlighted that the formal consultation was currently being undertaken, with a deadline of 13 February 2018 for responses. All Partners were to send their own consultations and it was requested that all responses / information received from the consultations be sent to Leanne Ahern. 

 

Resolved that: -

1.         the update be noted;

2.         responses to the consultations be sent to Leanne Ahern

Penny Gruffydd and Suzy Richards held a workshop on the draft objectives and actions. The board undertook a task to consider how the draft objectives and actions aligned to the seven Wellbeing Goals. The responses to the task were mapped accordingly.

·                 Minutes of Core Group meeting on 14 December 2017;

·                 Update from Commissioners Office in relation to PSB (letter dated 14 December 2017);

·                 Final version of letter to Future Generations Commissioner;

·                 Update on Natural Resources Wales Funding 2018;

·                 The Welsh Government recently published a Well-being of Wales 2016-17 Report which provides an update on the progress being made in wales to date on achieving the Well-being Goals.  The Report and supporting resources can be found here: http://gov.wales/statistics-and-research/well-being-wales/?lang=en

·                 The Future Generations commissioner have recently published her 2016 – 17 Report.   A link to the report along with information on the Commissioners Plans for the next 12 months can be found here.  https://futuregenerations.wales/documents/annual-report-2016-2017/

·                 In light of the Wellbeing Plan being finalised and with impending conversations on regional working arrangements, the Core Group had a brief discussion on other potential governance models for Swansea Public Service Board. A process is being planned to review and consider potential alternative options for carrying out the business of the Board.
