RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting held on 15 August 2016 be agreed as a correct record.

·         Commissioning Review of Day Centres - Feedback.

·         Commissioning Review of Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities - Feedback.

·         Commissioning Review of Domiciliary Care - Feedback.

·         Commissioning Review of Residential Care - Feedback.

Councillor J E C Harris, Cabinet Member for Adults and Vulnerable People, updated the Committee regarding the ongoing Commissioning Reviews. 

She added that the Residential Care and Day Centres Commissioning Reviews required further work. The Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities and Domiciliary Care Reviews were proceeding to Cabinet.  Once agreed by Cabinet, the reviews would be circulated for public consultation.

She stated that she wanted robust comments regarding public expectations of the services.

RESOLVED that the contents of the report be noted.

The terms of reference of the CCTV review were reported to the Committee.

RESOLVED that further discussions take place between the Chair and the Chair of the Development Cabinet Advisory Committee.

The terms of reference of the investigation into Health and Diet in Swansea was reported to the Committee.

The Committee discussed the terms of reference, particularly the potential scope of the investigation and identifying the relevant officer expertise within the Authority.

RESOLVED that further discussions take place the next scheduled meeting.

The work programme 2016 – 2017 was reported for information. It was stated that the visit to Monmouthshire County Council was scheduled for 13 October 2016.

RESOLVED that the contents of the report be noted.
