Exclusion of the Public. PDF 237 KB Minutes: The Committee was requested to exclude the public from the meeting during the consideration of the items of business identified in the recommendations to the report on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as set out in the exclusion paragraph of 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information)(Variation)(Wales) Order 2007, relevant to the item of business as set out in the report.
The Committee considered the Public Interest Test in deciding to exclude the public from the meeting for the items of business where the Public Interest Test was relevant, as set out in the report.
Resolved that the public be excluded for the following items of business.

Town Police Clauses Act 1847 and Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 - Application for the Grant of a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver's Licence - ASJ. Minutes: The Operational Lead, Taxis, presented the background information
in respect of ASJ. Members’ asked questions of the Officer who responded accordingly. ASJ explained the circumstances relating to the matter and answered Members’ questions. Resolved that: 1) ASJ’s application for the Grant of a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence be granted with a warning letter regarding future conduct. Reasons for Decision The Committee were satisfied ASJ met the fitness criteria
for grant. The Applicant’s comments were
sufficient to satisfy 3.29 around the para 4.20 justifying the grant with the
warning. |

HMO Licensing - Housing Act 2004 - Fit and Proper Person Status - CD. Minutes: The Divisional
Environmental Health Officer – Pollution Control and Private Sector Housing
accompanied by the Senior Environmental Health Officer, presented the
background information in respect of CD.
Members asked questions of the Officers who responded
accordingly. CD, accompanied by Mr P D, explained the circumstances
relating to the matter and answered Members’ questions. Resolved that: 1.
CD be issued with a warning letter regarding
future conduct. 2.
CD is a fit and proper person and the management
arrangements are satisfactory as set out in the Council’s Policy. Reasons for Decision The Committee were satisfied CD met the fit and proper
person criteria. |
