5.         APOLOGY

 

            An apology for absence was received from Councillor D Phillips.

 

6.         EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC

 

            RESOLVED that the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined by paragraphs I and II of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

7.         TO INTERVIEW CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED FOR THE ROLE OF FACILITATOR

           

            The Committee interviewed the following for appointment of the role of facilitator to assist the Committee in its process:

            RO

 

            Upon withdrawal of the two candidates, Patrick Arran, Directorate Lawyer advised the Committee on the facilitator’s role.

 

            The Deputy Chief Executive outlined the process from herein.

 

            RESOLVED that RO be appointed.

 

            The meeting ended at 2.45 p.m.
